“I will collect my words into a deep forest”: on the possibilities of translation of English medieval poetry into Czech

Abstrakt

A study of various methodological approaches to translation of English medieval poetry into Czech. It also contains an analysis of alliteration as a translator’s problem and suggests possible strategies to render it.
