Abstract
The main thesis is the reject of the conception that Vampyrism is exclusively connected with the so called Slavic ethnos or with the so called Slavic cultural milieu. The work starts from the Ethymology of the word upir/vampyr and through theological and rationalistical conception reach the actual concepts.
