Soft aspects of single parenting and public policy tools

Abstract

The topic of single parenting is mostly framed in relation to financial burden. Based on the original research, the paper states that psychological burden is also an important part of single-parenting.

Then it suggests public policy tools that could resolve the problem: self-help and support groups, community support and contact family service.
