This contribution is divided to two parts. The first part deals with historical changes of the sense of education.
This investigation outfall in the second part to critical analyze of conception of so-called "knowledge society". The first part of this contribution is marked by generally philosophical approach, the second part analyzes the problematic of the change of the sens of education and the conception of knowledge society from socioeconomic regard.
It is compared the rate of augmentation of number of university students of one country with statistical data of the economical productivity, overqualifiedness, unemployment, devaluation of universitic education etc. The contribution arise to a refutation of illusions of a conception of knowledge society.
