Czech elites and citizens as part of a public accountability system

Abstrakt

The chapter is focusing on the explanation of the so called "accountability paradox" in the post communists countries in Central Europe when there one can find lots of formal accountability institutions and despite of that fact, scholars do not see these countries accountable. The explanation is based on the quantitative data about the Czech elite and general public.
