The article tells the history of the Vyšehrad cemetery in Prague and introduces some of the famous representatives of Czech and German culture burried here, e. g. Willy Nowak, Karel Hynek Mácha, Ema Destinová, Božena Němcová, Rafael Kubelík and others.
