Abstract

At the end of February 1920 the Czechoslovak constitution was ratified so in the both symbolic and legal way the era of establishment of a new state had ended. It was not an easy period during which the political leaders had to tackle and solve a lot of challenges.

The answers to questions like: How did a political representation deal with a situation of a new state established in the restless Central Europe - full of nationalistic, social and economic problems in that time? - might be found through studying the constitutional norms and the other laws, which were passed in the connection with ratification of the Czechoslovak constitution. This collective monography brings different points of views to above mentioned topic and connects historians, lawyers and researchers of both many academic institutions and even generations.
