Abstract

The "GEOBIBLINE" project provides access to digital geographic bibliography of the Czech Republic for the 20th and 21st CE's. The database shows development or stagnation of geography in the last 110 years.

This creates environment for access to the resources useful not only for university teaching but also for the general public. The database contains documents from the following geographic areas: theoretical, physical and social geography, cartography, demography.

The project has involved into cooperation as the libraries with the similar funds as the publishing houses and has created a quite complete bibliography of the Czech Geographic magazine articles. The database is accessible online via the internet and runs in SW Aleph in Czech and English.

Registration is not required and the use of database including full text is free. The database has become a part of the project TEMAP since 2011.
