Publication |
2011

Abstract

The article presents a case of a 16-month-old girl, who swallowed a coin battery. The electric and mechanic effect of the battery and its particular placement in the ventral part of esophagus in the place of the Killian's sphincter was the most probable cause of the recurrent laryngeal nerve palsy.
