Endogenous and exogenous ligands of aryl hydrocarbon receptor: current state of art

Abstract

The current paper summarizes the knowledge on exogenous and endogenous AhR ligands. AhR is an importan transcriptional factor involved not only in CYP1A1 induction, but also in many cellular fuctions.
