Abstract
Author comsiders two ways of European evolution: constitution of the law state and, on the other side, yearning for community founded on natural harmony. Comparison of the Heinrich Kleist's novel Michael Kohlhaas with the novels of Dostoevskiov and Alexej Remizov.
