Abstract
A summary of data assembled on spider communities in the Jizera Valley is presented. Two protected areas were surveyed in the period 2008-2009.
In total 1204 specimens belonging to 136 spider species were collected. The data are compared with the results obtained in the area of Semily in 1958-1998.
