UV-VIS detection of amino acids in liquid chromatography: Online post-column solid-state derivatization with Cu(II) ions

Abstract

This work describes a new post-column solid-state reactor based on copper oxide (II) for derivatization of amino acids. Such derivatization leads to two to four orders of magnitude sensitivity increase.
