Abstract
The presentation defines the essence of money and how money market works, and also characterizes currency and the essence of currency rate. It is focused on distinguishing the terms money, currency and foreign currency and explains the forming of currency rate.
It shows the function of banks in money market system and also their role in the life of citizens. It encourages pupils’ critical thinking and mature relation to money.
