Abstrakt
The paper is concerned with the relationship between a count of elements and the abstract concept of a number. A question is posed whether "seeing" a number at a glance by human subject is possible also in the case of large numbers.
For this a visual representation of numbers by shapes of curves is suggested, as well as a visual, non-arithmetic decision procedure for testing numbers whether they re primes or composites.
