Abstract
The study discusses the existing results of the implementation of the wikiportal, which is devoted to the field of information science and librarianship, in the Czech Wikipedia. The first parts of the article give basic information about portal, about reasons for its implementation and about its goals, too.
The next part gives an overview of existing project outputs and results of the portal, followed by the section dealing with options and proposals for further development of the portal, including the possibility of participation of a wider user base. The final part of the paper is dedicated to the overall summary and conclusions of the portal's achievements, future challenges, problems and its general sense, too.
