Evolution of reproductive isolation: models and empirical evidence

Publication

Abstract

Over the 100 years of population genetics, we got some theoretical understanding about the conditions favouring speciation. Now, we begin to gain the evidence about the nature of the genes, which cause reproductive isolation.

We would like to take the exciting opportunity of inviting a few leading theoretical and empirical scientists who have recently moved to or are visiting central Europe to advance the dialog between theoreticians and experimentalists, and to facilitate new fruitful collaborations across participating institutions.
