Publication |
2011

Abstract

In the last decade the area of clinical evaluation was exposed to a significant pressure of new and frequently ground-braking, scientific inventions in the area of medicine, biology, chemistry, physics and information technologies. Codes of ethics, principles and procedures relating to the clinical evaluation should be also developing in the same pace as the science develops.

In spite of the fact that numerous codes of ethics and directives relating to the clinical research came into existence in various parts of the world , we still encounter controversial topics that still wait for their resolution. The very significant global topics include: insufficient acquaintance of a patient participating in a clinical evaluation, conflict of interests, availability of treatment after completion of a clinical evaluation, fradulous behavior, fate of the good clinical practice directive, different interpretation of valid legislation of the European Union and other topics.
