Based on an extensive dataset (906 samples, 4175 bats captured, including 1604 recaptures of 657 individuals) obtained during two periods (1968-1984 and 1999-2009) in a model study area (South Bohemia, the Czech Republic) basic information on roosting ecology, population structure, seasonal dynamics and some aspects of reproduction of the Daubenton's bat (Myotis daubentonii Kuhl, 1817) was summarized.
