Abstract

There are many situations in which people are to be evaluated without the possibility to test them. Those situations, like a war deployment, are characterized by high level of existential risk.

Thus, any interference to the action itself is not possible. That is why evaluation is to be made by experts who observe these events and they are able to assess performance of given individuals.

However, we experienced experts evaluate all of their subordinates as elite or even ideal. To avoid this balancing effect, the software AEQUUS was developed.

This software generates given number of places according to the number of evaluating categories and number of evaluated individuals to correspond with Gauss normal distribution. Thus, commanders are forced to differentiate their subordinates, they cannot evaluate them similar.

Software enables to monitor the way how a given commander act, reclassification of soldiers from one category to another. Names of soldiers become anonymous at the end of the whole procedure.
