Abstract
The reign of Ľudovít I. The Great (1342-1382) is an important era for the history of the Hungarian kingdom and significant term for a historical development of the Moldavian principality. Ľudovít The Great stand to it''s creation and he help its inadvertently.
His perception of this principality as a integral part of his kingdom and steps, which he made, formed and affected activities of Moldavian dukes, who from Bogdan I. (1363 - 1367) tried to sustain an independance of principality and freedom of their act on a international area and on a territory of the principality.
