Abstract
Malignant melanoma is the most harmful skin cancer, its incidence is increasing in developed countries. Advanced vertical growth of the tumor and metastatic disease particularly are linked with negative prognosis.
Primary prevention and careful diagnosis enable to capture the tumor in early stage. Most of the patients with localized melanoma recover completely after its surgical removal.
