Abstract
This thesis presents an annotated edition of letters by Jakub Deml. These letters contributes to the knowledge of named poet and priest life and work in early period of his work, specifically during the years 1904 and 1911.
At that time he held office as clerical administrator in various parishes in Moravia and also worked together with Josef Florian (1873-1941) on publishing book series named Studium in Stará Řiše. In the correspondence with priest, translator and collaborator of Studium Josef Ševčík 1857-1911) are recorded dramatic stories of Deml''s life at that time.
