Czech Media History in Czech Feature Movies of 1970s and 1980s

Abstract

The interpretation of the past is one of key elements of propaganda and its influence on people. In the text, authors try to show how the enforced pattern of the interpretations of the past was embedded in the Czech/Czechoslovak feature movie production of 1970s and 1980s.

The focus of the text is on movies with representation of some media and/or journalism history aspect.
