This paper deals with a concept of disruptive technologies, which results from the economical model of creative destruction made by founder of innovation theories Joseph Alois Schumpter. Despite the fact that he described adverse impact of innovations on market structure at the beginning of 20th century, media studies revealed them lately, precisely in 1995 through a model of another economist Claytron Christensen.
With the evolution of the internet, first studies based on media corporations'' trade model have investigated disruptive impact of a new communication channels. These analyses are transmitted onto Czech media environment, which is still strongly affected by the transformation process have started 20 years ago.
Paper illustrates the influence of this process to innovations.
