Individual education plans : a useless piece of paper of a useful document?

Abstract

The paper presents the fundamental principles of individual education plans in primary and secondary schools. In addition to the theoretical background it gives examples of good practice and highlights the importance of individual education plans for the effective inclusion of pupils with special educational needs.
