Syntax-didactic Aspects of the Interpretation of Verb Meaning

Abstract

The article deals with the problematic of the Czech valency syntax and its incorporation into the Czech language teaching in higer classes at primary school. The main attention is given to description ability of students to analyse meaning of verb predicate''s structure.

This ability is perceived as one of key competence for understanding Czech valency syntax.
