Secondary school students and university students quote various media products (e.g. films, TV series, TV commercials, reality shows) in various communicative situations, especially as a means of identification with their social group, supporting their image. These quotations often express irony, humour, playfulness, language creativity.

We examine these quotations particularly concerning their source and function.
