Praise and rebuke communicative functions in pedagogical communication

Abstract

The paper deals with role of praise and rebuke in school communication. Author according to linguistic theory of speech acts focuses on their language indication, describes direct forms of utterances with praise and rebuke illocutionary force and works with instances of these forms from language corpus SCHOLA2010.
