On the German-Czech language conflicts concerning Badeni''s language regulations. An analysis of language management

Abstract

The paper deals with German-Czech language conflicts concerning Badeni''s language regulations in 1897. The analysis of these conflicts is based on Language Management Theory, which enables the structuring of the dynamics of the conflicts and the identification of their substance.
