Abstract
The paper describes the two types of cumulation of prepositions in Czech texts: a) the prepositions follow one another directly - in this cas the second preposition is part of the parenthesis, b) a conjunction is inserted between the prepositions - in this case the prepositions usually have opposite meanings.
