Abstract
This article is based on follow-up research, comparing the using of one traditional Romani (Gypsy) song type phurikane giľa in the Czech Republic and in Slovakia. This type is surprisingly much more spread among the Roma in the CR, which is interpreted as one of the most basic ties to Romani identity.
