Abstract
The synods as sessions of clergy from one bishopric or sessions of representatives from one church province made possible mutual communication of the participants just as communication with their superiors. The external communication remained necessary condition for the succesful development of the synod and for implementation of the synodal decisions.
The authoress presents outline and some examples of such communication.
