B cell toll-like receptors with respect to the pathogenesis of Sjőgren's syndrome

Publication at Faculty of Medicine in Hradec Králové |
2011

Abstract

The article summary discusses the pathogenesis of Sjőgren's syndrome and focuses on the possible role of B cells and Toll-like receptors. Stimulation of BCR via Toll-like receptors might be necessary for B cells activation leading to the failure of tolerance and the emergence of autoimmune disease.
