New cadmium sulfide nanomaterial for heterogeneous organic photovoltaic cells

Abstrakt

Nanocrystalline CdS particles were prepared by a new bench-top mild temperature procedure starting from cadmium ethylxanthate and using DEA and TEA as reaction media. Basic spectroscopical properties of the nanoparticles were studied to characterize them as a material for solar cells.
