Abstract
Aristotle''s introduction into the problem of polis presented as a doctrine of its growth is intended to reveal the nature of politics as a complex combination of two basic elements: 1) fundamental structures of determination by human necessity and by the specific human way of its satisfaction; 2) historical expansion of the human social order toward more advanced communities; this dynamical element however includes a negative potentiality to decline.
