Abstrakt
The article is an inquiry into the causes of the crisis of contemporary democracy. This crisis is interpreted as a crisis of institutions.
The author regards the pressure of economic subjects on the institutions of a democratic state as one of the highest-risk factor for the emergence of such crisis. He argued that this factor is further intensified by additional unique realities in the Czech environment.
