Abstract
The author interviews Michal Ajvaz, a forefront Czech novelist and thinker, discussing his literary paradigms and influences, his philosophical stances (especially vis-a-vis the work of Jacques Derrida), and his opinions on the present and future of literature and the medium of the book.
