Abstrakt
This critical introduction puts into historical and literary perspective the lives and times of international poets who have visited or lived in Prague between 1888 and 2010 and depicted the city in poetry, using different strategies and different points of focus, which reflects both the dominant poetic modes and the dominant historical narrative of their time.
