Abstract
The chapters on biochemical cardiac markers are divided into four groups: markers of myocardial injury, cardiac dysfunction, extracellular matrix and markers of neurohumoral activation. The final two chapters describe the evaluation of cardiotoxicity of antineoplastic agents with cardiac troponins.
