Abstract
The content of chapter - Aspheric intraocular lens - published in Trendy current ophthalmology - volume 7 is detailed analysis of this type intraocular lenses. The first part of this chapter is dedicate to description of wavefront analysis especially to spherical aberration and age related changes of phakic eyes.
In the next chapter part are more detailed describe models of aspherical lens currently available on the market. The final part is dedicate to own clinical studies, results and indication suggestions for use aspheric lenses in cataract surgery.
