Abstract
In the chapter "Toric intraocular lenses" published in Trendy current ophthalmology - volume 7, are describe current possibilities preoperative corneal astigmatism correction with using toric intraocular lenses at the time of cataract surgery. The first part describe design and function of toric lenses which are use in cataract or refractive surgery in full details.
The authors inform about own clinical experience with these implants. The second part is dedicated to phakic toric lenses which are indicate in intraocular refractive surgery.
