Abstract
The author presents the basic starting points of the theology of Cross inspired by M. Luther, which flourished in Roman Catholic theology in 80ties and 90ties of 20th century.
The Bible does not deal with an abstract concept of Evil, in contraposition to certain type of philosophy. The Theological answer to this pressing problem lies in the Cross of Jesus Christ.
Human being is called to give meaning to his suffering and Christianity helps him in this. In the conlusion the author summarizes the approach of theology to theodicy in ten points.
