Abstract
This article is focused to contemporary czech literature, especially to czech novels after end of cummunism. Autor used example of Milos Urban novel The Seven Churces ot The Heptecclesion: a Gothic Novel of Prague (to english translated by Peter Owen)for show the czech relationship to the tradition of catholic church and his secrets in postmodern czech society.
Urban draw mofifs from gothic novels and of course from popularity od Da Vinci Code of Dan Brown.
