Abstract
The paper presents the fundamental methodological principles, the structure, the capabilities, and the merits of the training system "Bulgarian language for foreigners". This is the first of its kind interactive multimedia system for learning Bulgarian as a foreign language, matching the modern didactic requirements both in form and in contents.
The product could be used for individual, as well as for group training. In addition to the Bulgarian version, it has been developed in five other languages: English, German, Netherlands, French and Czech.
