Abstrakt
The article deals with certain aspects of thu mutual relation between the Germanist at the German University of Prague August Sauer and the Moravian writer Marie von Ebner.Eschenbach. The correspondence of these representatives of German cultural life in the Czech Lands reflects for the most part one of the important areas of their interests, which was the Austrian literature, especially Franz Grillparzer.
