Abstract
Patients with food allergy are at great risk of anaphylaxis reaching 30%.It may be mild and may disappear spontaneously or it may be severe and progress within minutes to respiratory or cardiovascular compromise and death. This case report shows severe anaphylaxis caused by curry spice containing caraway seeds in a 17-year-old girl with a multiple food allergy food allergy and uncontrolled bronchial asthma.
