Silver-bearing stringer at Hříva near Louňovice pod Blaníkem: structural and fluid evolution

Publication at Faculty of Science |
2011

Abstract

Structural analysis of outcrops at the Hříva hill allowed us to identify three separate brittle-tectonic phases possibly connected with the evolution of Ag-Pb-Zn mineralized quartz stringer. Fluid inclusions in quartz and barite revealed participation of fluids about 200-130 deg.

C hot and with salinities 6.6 to 8.9 wt. % eq. NaCl during individual tectonic phases.

There is no evidence for incursion of meteoric waters from the paleosurface into the tectonic structures.
