Abstract
The editors introduction to thematic journal issue. The aim of the issue is to discuss the most important aspects of of the growing socio-spatial differentiation in our regions and municipalities and to evaluate their impacts on quality of life of population living in various types of areas.
The articles included in the issue address the differentiation of urban space as well as rural areas. Moreover some of the articles present a general view of socio-spatial differnetiation in the whole Czech Republic.
