Critically endangered plant species of the Czech Republic: what is the situation of their endangerment in other European countries?

Abstract

To set priorities in species conservation in a given country it is important to know the situation of the species endangerment in the surrounding countries. The results show that a high number of C1 species occur in other European countries and are quite common there.

However, there still remain many species for the conservation of which the Czech Republic is highly responsible
